Dr. Kara Eckstein, DMD

Pediatric Specialist

Dr. Kara Eckstein is a compassionate pediatric dentist dedicated to helping children feel comfortable, confident, and excited about caring for their smiles. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and completed her pediatric dental residency at the University of Florida in Naples, where she received advanced training in providing dental care for infants, children, adolescents, and patients with special healthcare needs.

Dr. Kara is passionate about creating positive dental experiences for children and families. She focuses on gentle, child-centered care that helps young patients build healthy habits and feel at ease during their visits. Her goal is to make every appointment a positive step toward a lifetime of healthy smiles.

She has a strong commitment to community service and has participated in a variety of outreach initiatives focused on improving access to dental care and supporting children and families in need. Through volunteer work and community programs, she has helped provide dental services, education, and support to underserved populations and individuals with special needs.

Dr. Kara enjoys connecting with families and making dental visits fun and stress-free for children. She is excited to be part of the NC Pediatric Dentistry team and looks forward to serving patients and families in the community.
