Dr. Maya Mathai Dr. Maya Mathai is a dedicated pediatric dentist committed to providing exceptional dental care for children of all ages. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from West Virginia University and loved being a Mountaineer so much that she completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the same institution. Following dental school, Dr. Maya pursued a two-year post-graduate residency at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, where she specialized in treating children with special needs and medically complex conditions.Dr. Maya’s approach to patient care focuses on creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience for young patients. She strives to make dental visits both fun and stress-free, fostering a positive attitude towards oral health. As a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Maya stays at the forefront of pediatric dental advancements and best practices. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Maya enjoys spending time with her fur children, Spaghetti the cat and Goose the dog, attending live music events (with a particular fondness for Taylor Swift), exploring new places, and trying out new foods with her fiancé.
